Project : Nehru Centre of Performing Arts, Sub City Centre, Sector 34, Chandigarh
The project of Nehru Centre of Performing Arts in Sub City Centre, Sector 34 was started by the Engineering Department in 1982 and portion of building was constructed upto rroof of ground floor only which was stopped in 1985 due to non-availability of funds, thereafter this project over the plot size measuring (344'-9'' X 189'-10.5'') was designed by the consultant M/s Satnam Namita & Associates appointed by Chief Engineer, UT Chandigarh in the year 2007 through expression of interest.

PROJECT BRIEF
The concept design was approved after evaluating the same by the committee constituted by the Chandigarh Administration
The details of accommodation planned are as below- 1. Two auditoriums of capacity of 1250 and 250 persons, 2. A black box, 3. A music library, 4. Two conference halls, 5. Reception with lobby, 6. Cafeteria, 7. Food Courts, 8. Parking and other related facilities.
