The Department conceives the idea of creating a Cultural Village in Aizawl so as to add more tourist attractions in and around the city and also keeping in mind that Aizawl is the first and the last place in every tourist itinerary. Having Cultural Village set up in Aizawl will enable visitors to learn about Mizo culture, traditions, and history. It will also help them in preserving the culture of Mizoram.
